Package Substation is factory-assembled and tested. It is designed and manufactured in order to satisfy a customer's specific needs. The design engenders high level of flexibility that covers a wide range of applications. It is manufactured in accordance with IEC standards and SEC specifications.

The Package Substation is a combination of Ring Main Unit, Transformer and Low Voltage panel; and a Unit Substation is a combination of Transformer and Low Voltage panel.

These substations are used for effective electrical power distribution in medium voltage to low voltage distribution system.

.The Package Substation is manufactured in accordance with the IEC standards and SEC specification.
.The Package Substation is approved by SEC Central Region.
.It is an outdoor type consists of Ring Main Unit, Distribution Transformer and Low Voltage Panel.
.Ring Main Unit is non extendable type with two ring load break switches plus one fused switch or circuit breaker for the tee off switching. The tee of switching rated 200A that is suitable for transformer up to 3000kVA. Additional units can be made on request.
.Distribution Transformer KVA ratings are 100, 200, 300, 500, 630, 800, 1000, 1250, 1500, 1600, 2000, 2500 and 3000 kVA. Primary voltage ratings are 33kV, 13.8kV and 11kV. Secondary voltage ratings are 231V, 380V and 480V. Other rating can be made upon request.
.Low Voltage Panel designed as stand-alone panel is manufactured in accordance with the IEC standards and SEC specification. Busbars are of ETP grade and tin-plated copper. Silver plated copper and Busbars with PVC sleeves can also be provided upon request.
.Package substation enclosure is manufactured out of Electro galvanized sheet steel with all the external covers and doors are polyester powder coated with a paint shade of cement grey RAL 7033, other shade can be provided upon request.
.The complete assembly is mounted on a hot-dipped galvanized base frame in such a way that the whole assembly can be lifted and carried as a single unit.
.The enclosure is designed with proper ventilation to avoid increase of temperature of the internal components. The side walls are provided with sufficient louvers with sand traps so that dust and sand will not pass inside. And provided with sloping double wall roof so that the rays of sun will not increase the temperature inside the package substation.
.Removable gland plates and cable supports are provided at the base of the assembly for the termination of high voltage and low voltage cables.
.Factory routine test is conducted on each Package Substation that is carefully inspected by QC engineer for the structure and electrical compliance with the specifications and standards.
.The Package Substation can be interface with the BMS system for monitoring and controlling the starters. It can also be interface with programmable logic controller (PLC) for the automatic operation.
